A Year of Flowers
How would you like to have a year of custom made flower arrangements this year? This is your opportunity! It is also your opportunity to help the Charlotte Council of Garden Clubs fund educational projects including scholarships at CPCC, programs available to our membership and free to the public, and installation of a teaching garden at the Council House.
You could also be the winner of a year of flowers. Your ticket could be the one drawn at the February meeting of the Charlotte Council of Garden clubs. You could receive four arrangements during the year for the occasions of your choice. Once again, you can choose the design style, color combination and even provide your own vessel. Just fill in the appropriate raffle ticket(s) and send them and a check by February 15th. Tickets are $5.00 for one and $12.00 for three.
All raffle tickets and checks should be filled out and sent to Charlotte Council of Garden Clubs @ 1820 East Seventh Street, Charlotte N.C. 28204.
PLEASE NOTE:
We will deliver to anyone hour or less from Presbyterian Hopsital in Charlotte. If you live at a greater distance, we will find a meeting place agreeable to the winner.

MAD HATTER’S TEA PARTY
What: A literary tea featuring characters from Alice in Wonderland, a scrumptious spread of delicious delicacies, , the purchase of unique teapot centerpieces and a sale of gently used books (hardback books for $1.00 and paperback books for $.50). There will be books for children; gardeners; non-fiction readers; and mystery, romance, fantasy and historical fiction buffs.
When: Saturday …March 24, 2012. Children’s Tea hours are 1:00 to 2:00p.m.; Shopping for books 2:00 to 3:00p.m.; Adults Only Tea hours are 3:00 to 4:00

Why: To raise money to fund the educational projects sponsored by the Charlotte Council of Garden Clubs. These include scholarships, programs, teaching garden.
How to make reservations: Send the attached reservation form no later than (1 week prior to event) to Charlotte Council of Garden Clubs, 1820 East Seventh Street, Charlotte N.C. 28204, attn. Susan Hooper
Cost: A single adult ticket costs $15.00; a Two For Ticket (a garden club member and a non-garden club guest) costs $27.00; a child (ages 6-12 accompanied by an adult) costs $12.00
