CHARLOTTE HERB GUILD AT MATTHEWS  FARMER’S MARKET

MAY 19, 2012

Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 7:15 AM to 12PM the Charlotte Herb Guild will host their annual booth at the Matthews Community Farmers Market at 208 North Trade St. Matthews, NC. 28015.

This is the Charlotte Herb Guild’s signature annual event where Guild members showcase their culinary talents with herb recipes made from the Charlotte Herb Guild Cook Book, now in its third printing.

Samples from the cookbook will be available for tasting but the samples go fast. Everything from lavender punch to rosemary cookies to cucumber dill sandwiches will be offered. The Charlotte Herb Guild Cook Book in hard copy and CD format will also be for sale at the Charlotte Herb Guild booth.

This is a wonderful way to pick up ideas on how to use your herbs in a variety of recipes or pick up a cook book that will give you and your friends dozens of ideas on how to use all those herbs in your garden.

This event is FREE and open to the public.  The public is also invted to enter both the Daylily Show and the Flower Design Exhibit.  Events include Hybrid Daylily Sale, Silent Auction, Planting Seeds with Children, Educational Semianrs at 1:00 and 2:00, Photography Competition and Flower Design Exhibit.
